This app presents a new edition of GPS to SMS, compatible with iOS 8 and the latest iPhones and iPads, including the iPhone 6 Plus.

For users still on iOS 6 or earlier versions, the original version of the app remains available for download on the App Store.

GPS to SMS facilitates sharing of your current location via SMS, WhatsApp, or email with friends, colleagues, or emergency responders.

The transmitted message includes GPS coordinates, altitude information, and links to both Google™ Maps and Apple Maps. Additionally, the email includes your precise address.

Common application scenarios include letting children share their whereabouts, informing friends of your location during large outdoor events, requesting assistance in case of a car breakdown, transmitting your position during hikes, easily locating yourself, as well as being utilized by rescue services.

Key features encompass the ability to dispatch SMS or emails with GPS data and altitude details, sending emails containing the full address details of your current position (street, town, etc.), displaying actual latitude, longitude, and altitude data in various formats (degrees/decimal), presenting your position on a map (satellite, map, hybrid views), manually correcting your current location on the map or sending another location you select on the map.
